A tribute to Pink Floyd with music and painting is part of the summer nights in Bagnoregio. On Saturday, August 10th (9:30 PM) in Piazza San Donato, in the heart of Civita, the musical performance by Tony Ranocchia (music) and Stefano Cianti (painting) titled 'Colors on the Skin of Sound' will take place. "Music is a major highlight of this summer in Bagnoregio, with a show of sounds and painting in homage to one of the most beloved bands in history: Pink Floyd. All the events we organize in Civita di Bagnoregio acquire a magical flavor and become part of our history. I am convinced that this will also be a great success, and I thank the organizers for their unique idea and proposal," said Luca Profili, the mayor of Bagnoregio. The project 'Colors on the Skin of Sound' was born in 2014 from the meeting of the two artists from Tuscia. It immediately formed a path and a dialogue of artistic understanding between the two languages of music and painting, where sometimes the painting is born from the music, and other times the music is born from the painting. Performed live in small or large performances, sometimes fused with other art forms such as dance, acting, and Pink Floyd tribute events, a great passion that has connected the two artists for years. This 2024 marks their tenth anniversary, and what better way to celebrate it than with a special music and painting event dedicated solely to Pink Floyd on the occasion of the 'Night of San Lorenzo,' in such a suggestive setting as Civita. On stage, along with Tony Ranocchia (guitar and vocals) and Stefano Cianti (painting), there will also be Francesco Lattanzi (vocals), Patrizia Pascale and Francesca Darida (chorus), Cesare Bassannetti (keyboards), Carlo Panza (bass), Alfio Scoparo (drums), and Angelo Rainone (saxophone).
