Tommaso Matano, Angela Maiello, Simona Pampallona, and Claudio Di Mauro are featured on the third day of Civita Cinema 2018. The festival aims to showcase how cinema truly brings the narrative of important industry professionals to life.
Tommaso Matano and Angela Maiello share their experiences with an editorial series entirely dedicated to TV series, titled 'Repetita,' by Edizioni Estemporanee, in Piazza San Donato at 5 PM. At 6 PM, also in Piazza San Donato, there will be a meeting with Simona Pampallona, the photographer on the set of the film 'Lazzaro Felice' in Bagnoregio. She will reveal the details of her profession, showcasing some of the shots taken in the Valle dei Calanchi.
At 7 PM, in Piazza Civita, enjoy the performance by the Movie Dream Band, paying a magnificent tribute to Nicola Piovani's music. At 9:30 PM, everything moves to Piazzale Biondini in the center of Bagnoregio. First, there's a discussion with Claudio Di Mauro, who shares insights into the art of film editing, followed by the screening of the film 'A casa tutti bene.' Claudio Di Mauro has edited over a hundred films, collaborating with directors like Marco Risi, Gabriele Muccino, Ficarra and Picone, Carlo Verdone, Alessandro Genovesi, and Giovanni Veronesi.
'A casa tutti bene' tells the story of a large family reuniting to celebrate their grandparents' Golden Wedding Anniversary on the island where they relocated. A sudden storm prevents the ferries from arriving and disrupts their planned return in the evening, forcing everyone to remain on the island and confront themselves, their past, long-buried jealousies, anxieties, betrayals, fears, and even unexpected and sudden love affairs.
At midnight, the After Festival begins at Magna Civita, featuring live music and special cocktails. Find all the information at www.civitacinema.it. Follow Civita Cinema on Facebook.
