Gino Paoli cancels concerts until September 15, while Danilo Rea brings music to Bagnoregio

On August 9, a night of great music in Piazzale Biondini

Gino Paoli will not be in Bagnoregio for the evening of Thursday, August 9, as originally planned for Civit'Arte. Due to an injury, the renowned Italian singer-songwriter has been forced to cancel all scheduled concerts until September 15.

However, Danilo Rea will not disappoint and is ready to deliver beautiful emotions from the stage of Piazzale Biondini. The appointment is at 9:30 PM with free admission.

Danilo Rea boasts extensive experience in jazz, pop, and singer-songwriter music, with collaborations with some of the greatest American jazz musicians such as Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, John Scofield, Joe Lovano, among others. His piano solo concerts with improvisations covering a wide repertoire have taken him to perform all over the world. He was the first jazz musician to have a piano solo concert at the Santa Cecilia Hall (in 2003), and in 2006, he had a memorable concert at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Subsequently, with "Concerto per Peggy," in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, he paid tribute to Peggy Guggenheim with a piano recital that traversed and celebrated American classical music of the first half of the last century. In 2009, he performed at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and closed the 68th season of the Camerata Musicale Barese with a concert at the Teatro Petruzzelli. Besides jazz, he maintains a strong connection with classical music and has released several albums of improvisation on opera arias. This led him to open the International Bel Canto Music Festival with the "Belcanto Improvisations" concert. Recently, he recorded "Tributo a Fabrizio De André," a multi-award-winning album and a critic's choice for the solo piano album of the year.
