Cave of Saint Bonaventure
Cave of Saint Bonaventure, an ancient Etruscan tomb transformed into a medieval chapel for prayers, is located within the rock beneath the Belvedere. Legend has it that it was in this very place that the miraculous healing of the young Giovanni Fidanza, who was ill at the time, occurred through the intervention of Saint Francis.
