The Garibaldino Shrine (the pyramid)
The Garibaldino Shrine, better known as "the pyramid," is an ossuary that houses the remains of the Garibaldini who clashed with papal troops in October 1867. The memorial plaque is mounted on one of its faces, bearing the names of the thirteen fallen soldiers. The monument was inaugurated in 1891.
